Founded by new moms, we’re a small team of experienced lifestyle newborn photographers with a deep understanding of how tender and fleeting these early days can be. We photograph babies and families throughout Greater Vancouver with a calm, thoughtful approach that puts comfort and care first.

Our senior photographer, Dani, comes with a mountain of experience! Not only is she warm, funny, and an absolute professional at what she does, Dani has over 15 years of working with and photographing kids as a preschool photographer in her repertoire. She has also assisted and mentored under Kim Forrester for the past 4 years, adopting her neutral, natural and timeless style of photography and specialized techniques.

Tasha is a North Shore-based professional lifestyle and family photographer and a mom of two wonderful boys. With a passion for capturing all the beautiful chaos of family life, she offers a candid, documentary style that brims with warmth and authentic emotion. Tash prides herself on ensuring that each photo session is a relaxed and fun experience.
AIDA
Photographer
Aida is a portrait photographer with a deep-rooted passion for visual storytelling. Originally from Afghanistan and now a proud mother of three daughters, her love for photography was inspired by her father—a cinematographer and film director for Afghan Film in the 1970s. Multilingual and culturally diverse, Aida is fluent in English, Farsi, and Urdu, and is currently learning Arabic—skills that help her connect with a wide range of clients and communities. She is dedicated to capturing genuine expressions and meaningful moments, continually honing her craft with each session.
SHEETAL
Photographer
Sheetal has been photographing newborns and kids for 6 years professionally. With her photography business in India, she was the first person to introduce the concept of newborn photography where she lived, and gained recognition in local newspaper and magazines. The thing that she loves most when taking on any client, is the joy they get from looking at the final images and the fact they will cherish it forever.

Our manager Felicia is the friendly face who will ensure you are taken care of throughout the booking and delivery of your photos. She loves being a part of the process that gives new moms a relaxing, enjoyable experience that honours motherhood and documents those fleeting first moments.

Our founder Kim, owner of the thriving full service newborn photography business Kim Forrester Photography. could no longer keep up with the growing demand for bookings as a one-woman operation. She wanted to find a way to offer more sessions in her style to more families, so Vancouver Newborn Photographers was born.
