Wrapped in a soft, neutral sleeper and surrounded by the people who love him most, this sweet little newborn slept peacefully through much of the session, occasionally treating us to the sweetest smiles. These tiny expressions, sleepy stretches, and delicate newborn features change so quickly, making these early photographs priceless keepsakes for years to come.

There’s something incredibly honest about lifestyle newborn photography. Few props, no fanfare—just a tiny new person meeting the world for the first time, and two parents settling into the rhythm of their new reality. This at-home Vancouver session was full of beautiful, unscripted moments. Their wide-eyed newborn stayed awake for much of the shoot, offering so much personality and connection through the lens.

There are few things as touching as the first days with a newborn, and this recent photography session with Tasha was a beautiful reminder of just how magical those early moments are.
